About the role
- Program, setup and operate CNC Milling Machine, Lathe, EDM and Wire.
- Use manual machines (Mill, Lathe, Saw, Drill or Grinder) when necessary for job.
Requirements
- Maintain proper paperwork as required for each job. (machine log, work order and inspection sheet)
- 5 years' experience in CNC Programming of any kind machine tool.
- Knowledge of Forklift, Overhead crane, CNC, EDM, Wire, Welding, manual mill, lathe and grinder.
Skills
- Good communication skills, Problem Solving Ability, MS Office or other Production related system skills.
- Physical Demands:
- Frequently required to stand
- use hands to handle and reach.
- Occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch.
- Must occasionally lift/move up to 50 pounds.
- Vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Minimum: High school diploma.
- Prefered A.S. Degree in Machine Tool Tech or related field.
- Frequently required to stand; use hands to handle and reach.
- Program, setup and operate CNC machine tools in a job shop style work setting.
