EMI has an immediate opportunity for a Staff Accountant to join our team in Idaho Falls, ID.
The Staff Accountant will provide a pivotal role, meticulously preparing and maintaining financial records, ensuring clarity on assets, liabilities, profit and loss, and tax responsibilities.

Perform general cost accounting and other related duties.
Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations, including bank and credit card account reconciliations.
Maintain general ledger and financial statement configuration for Joint Venture accounting, including vendor and customer billings.
Maintain knowledge of GAAP and FAR.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications Experience providing accounting support in a government contracting environment.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field and a minimum of three (3) years of related experience
a minimum of ten (10) years of related experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
