About the role
- The Electrical Superintendent is responsible for the overall planning, coordination, execution, and supervision of electrical projects in the oil and gas industry. This position provides leadership to field personnel, ensures projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company standards, customer specifications, and applicable
- regulations. The Electrical Superintendent serves as the primary field leader and is responsible for workforce management, quality control, productivity, customer relations, and project execution.
Responsibilities
- Proven ability to lead large-scale industrial construction projects.
- Mentor and develop field employees through coaching and performance feedback.
- Maintain accountability for workforce productivity, attendance, and performance.
- Develop and maintain project schedules in coordination with Project Managers.
- Provide field support for troubleshooting electrical and automation systems.
- Support company HSE initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 10 years of industrial electrical experience.
- Minimum 5 years of supervisory or leadership experience.
- Experience in oil and gas facilities, automation systems, electrical construction, and maintenance.
- Experience managing multiple crews and projects simultaneously.
- NFPA 70E Electrical Safety Training required.
- PEC Safeland, H2S Clear, and customer-specific training as required.
