EHS Manufacturing Manager (Startup Validation) (Field Based)

About the role

  • This position reports to the Startup and Validation EHS Team Leader.
  • This is a full-time (40 hours per week) limited term role, with a duration of 18 months.
  • Project start anticipated in February 2026.

Responsibilities

  • Manage EHS implementation for a designated manufacturing zone during startup and validation phases.
  • Develop and execute LOTO programs and audits in alignment with site EHS strategies.
  • Lead and document Pre-Startup Environmental Reviews (PSERs), Pre-Functional Testing Safety Reviews (PFTSRs), and Pre-Startup Safety Reviews (PSSRs).
  • Support permit drafting and environmental compliance communication with client site personnel.
  • Lead or participate in incident investigations, corrective action planning, and reporting.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of EHS leadership experience during manufacturing startup or commissioning projects.
  • OSHA 30-hour Construction or General Industry required.
  • First Aid/CPR/AED certification required.
  • Strong understanding of startup readiness, LOTO program management, and GMP-area safety standards.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with engineering, construction, and operations teams.

Nice to have

  • or 10+ years of progressive EHS experience in industrial or pharmaceutical manufacturing environments.

  • $40k-$60k
