About the role
- As a Licensed Mental Health Professional at Ultra Health, you will play a vital role in supporting the emotional and psychological well-being of residents in senior care communities.
- THIS POSITION IS LOCATED IN LAFAYETTE, TN.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, formulate DSM-5-based diagnoses, and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and facility personnel to ensure coordinated, holistic care.
- Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant documentation in the facility's EMR system, utilizing appropriate ICD-10 coding.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building abilities.
- 1 fixed day per week, with the potential to add additional buildings in the surrounding area to support a full-time schedule if needed.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology or related field.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience providing psychotherapy to adult or geriatric populations.
- Previous experience in long-term care, assisted living, or skilled nursing environments.
- Working knowledge of HIPAA, ICD-10 coding, and EMR documentation standards.
- Familiarity with trauma-informed, person-centered, and culturally competent care models.
- Demonstrated proficiency in cognitive-behavioral and supportive therapy approaches.
