Responsibilities
- Perform retrofit, installation, and commissioning of HVAC and ventilation systems.
- Support BAS (Building Automation System) monitoring and performance optimization.
- Maintain maintenance records, work orders, and parts inventory.
- Support emergency or high-priority maintenance tasks as needed.
Requirements
- ODP Certification (Ozone Depletion Prevention) required for refrigerant handling.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in commercial or industrial HVAC retrofit, installation, or service.
- Strong ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings.
- Valid Ontario 313A Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Mechanic license (Compulsory Trade).
- Valid TSSA Gas Technician G2 or G1
- Familiarity with Building Automation Systems (BAS)
- Diploma or Certificate in HVAC, Mechanical, or Electrical field an asset.
- Excellent awareness of safety practices and maintenance standards.
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or in a small team environment.
