About the role
- YMCA Camp Twin Lakes is searching for skilled, enthusiastic and dedicated medical professionals to join our Summer Camp team as Camp Medics.
- Medics will distribute all camper and staff medications and attend to injuries or sicknesses that may occur.
- This is a seasonal position that runs from late May to mid-August with the opportunity to work up to 40 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Maintain treatment records and complete injury reports.
- Must maintain updated certifications of the job (CPR and First Aid/AED).
Requirements
- Some evening and weekend shifts will be required throughout the summer.
- Skills/Requirements Must be at least 21 years old.
- Must be able to complete YMCA required training as scheduled by management.
Compensation
- $17k-$20k
Benefits
- Camp Medics will manage the health and safety needs of the camp by tending to the medical needs of campers and staff. and maintaining records of all health care provided.
- Essential Functions Oversee the health and wellness of campers and staff.
- Provide medical attention to campers and staff with minor injuries.
- Prior experience with children and/or young adults is preferred (does not have to be in a medical capacity).
