About the role
- Applies and modifies the principles, methods, and techniques of medicine to provide primary patient care.
- Work closely with Practice Administrator & Case Manager to ensure comprehensive delivery of services and quality patient care.
- Evaluates medical procedures and everyday situations and suggests ways to improve delivery of quality service.
Responsibilities
- Participates in professional development activities and maintains professional affiliations.
- Cooperates with management in helping to achieve company objectives and deliver quality care to patients.
Nice to have
- Two years' experience in out-patient setting
- Active/Unrestricted Medicare and Medicaid numbers
- Commercial and Medicare Advantage patient management (Value-Based Care)
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Excellent attention to detail
- Knowledge of diagnostic equipment and procedures
- Good interpersonal skills
- Critical-thinking and problem-solving skills
Skills
- Knowledge of professional medical practices related to treatment.
- Knowledge of organizational and medical policies, regulations, and procedures.
- Knowledge of medical equipment and instruments.
- Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions to establish a safe medical environment.
- Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with patients, employees, medical staff, and the general public.
- Ability to react calmly, objectively, and effectively in emergency situations.
- Ability to communicate clearly with patients, staff, and clients.
- Good telephone manners and etiquette.
- Strong organizational skills; orientation to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to motivate and work effectively with others.
