About the role

  • We are seeking a Contracts Coordinator to join our Firm.
  • This position will be based in our New York office (hybrid).
  • The Contracts Coordinator provides assistance to attorneys in the Office of General Counsel throughout the lifecycle of vendor contract review, negotiation, and approval.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares redlines and comparison documents to clearly communicate proposed contract revisions to attorneys and counterparties.
  • Maintains database of executed contracts.
  • Maintains template contracts, updating with current language and developing processes to ensure language is reviewed regularly.
  • Creates new template contracts as needed for new vendors.
  • Develops project strategies to ensure efficient completion of tasks.
  • Manages Firm resources responsibly.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail, with a demonstrated ability to produce accurate, error-free work product in a high-volume environment
  • Ability to use discretion and exercise independent and sound judgement
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and shifting priorities
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work
  • Ability to work well in a demanding and fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work well independently as well as effectively within a team
  • Knowledge of relevant Firm computer software programs (e.g., Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint), with the ability to learn new software and operating systems
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of three years of related experience in a law firm or professional services environment
  • Demonstrates effective interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and in writing
  • Excellent project management, analytical, troubleshooting and organizational skills
  • Demonstrates a proactive approach to organization, process management, and problem-solving
  • Ability to handle sensitive matters and maintain confidentiality
  • Flexibility to travel
  • Flexibility to adjust hours and work the hours necessary to meet operating and business needs

Compensation

  • The starting base salary for this position is expected to be within the range listed under Salary Details.
  • Actual salary will be determined based on skills, experience (to the extent relevant) and other-job related factors, consistent with applicable law.
