About the role

  • Manufacturing Operations is accepting online applications for the position of Machinist Mechanic located in Pascagoula, Mississippi through July 26th, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. (Eastern Standard Time).
  • Experienced candidates have the potential for early completion of the training program (in as little as (15) fifteen months).
  • This will be based on demonstrated competency witnessed and approved by the Team Leader and a formal test out process.

Requirements

  • 2 years' machinery craft work experience
  • Both written and hands-on skill assessments are required to progress through advanced training.
  • All candidates will be required to successfully demonstrate the ability to climb heights up to 200 feet and satisfy confined space entry testing.
  • Planned / Unplanned shift work and overtime will be required.

Nice to have

  • Successful completion of an Internship at the Chevron Pascagoula Refinery as a Machinist Intern or formalized apprenticeship training program.
  • Relevant machinery trade school endorsed by the Central Gulf Industrial Alliance (CGIA), military or formalized training program graduate.
  • Minimum of 5 years inside machinists or outside machinery/millwright experience.
  • Automotive and/or industrial motorized equipment repair experience.
  • We recommend you allow approx.
  • 45 minutes to complete the assessment in one sitting.
  • If you need to exit, your progress will be saved.
  • You will be immediately directed to the testing portal upon submittal of your application, at which point you will have 72 hours (about 3 days) to complete the online assessment.
