Maintain smooth operation of LAN/WAN/VPNs.
Plan, design, configure, and install network hardware in support of customer requirements.
Maintain technical expertise in all areas of networks and computer hardware and software interconnection and interfacing, such as routers, firewalls, switches, WAN accelerators, etc.
Propose solutions to management to help ensure all communications requirements based on future needs and current usage are met, configuring such solutions to optimize cost savings.
Coordinate third-party maintenance for network equipment and assist with network design, to include selecting hardware and software packages.

Associate's degree and 5 years of relevant experience, or Bachelor's degree and 3 years of relevant experience, or Master's degree and 1 years of relevant experience
a High School diploma or equivalent with 7 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of completed degree.
the required security clearance must be maintained as a condition of continued employment.
the required certification must be maintained as a condition of continued employment.
Must have experience with Cisco hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls.
U.S. Citizenship is required for all positions with a government clearance and certain other restricted positions.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Systems related field.
Active U.S. Government Top Secret/SCI level security clearance.
Current professional certifications (eg.
Cisco CCNA, CCNP, CCIE).
Previous experience troubleshooting network procedures and best practices
experience with network challenges associated with systems integration, including COTS integration, capacity analysis, and system architecture design.
Demonstrated strong leadership skills.
Demonstrated experience in the use of network analysis tools (i.e. SolarWinds, WireShark, Riverbed App Transaction, etc.).

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
$83,400.00 - $125,200.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
