Responsibilities

  • Identify and document compliance requirements for new and existing products.
  • Develop compliance verification plans and test procedures.
  • Support product submissions, audits, reviews, and certification activities.
  • Partner with engineering teams to resolve compliance-related findings.
  • Perform system-level, module-level, integration, and regression testing.
  • Develop and execute verification test cases and test plans.
  • Document defects and work closely with development teams to support issue resolution.
  • We are seeking a Senior Regulatory Compliance Engineer to support the development and certification of intrusion detection and security system products.
  • This role is responsible for interpreting regulatory requirements, developing compliance verification strategies, and executing quality assurance activities across hardware, firmware, and software platforms.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Quality Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 3+ years of experience in product testing, quality assurance, verification and validation, or regulatory compliance.
  • Experience interpreting technical requirements and industry standards.
  • Experience creating test plans, test procedures, and test reports.
  • Ability to communicate technical information to engineering and management teams.

Nice to have

  • Experience working with UL, ULC, CE, EN, FCC, IC, or similar regulatory standards.
  • Experience with intrusion detection, security, access control, or life safety systems.
  • Familiarity with Jira, Azure DevOps, Xray, or similar tools.
  • Experience with requirements traceability and verification management.
  • Understanding of electronics and electrical test methods.
  • Experience supporting third-party certification activities.
