About the role
- This role combines regulatory compliance expertise with hands-on product verification and validation testing in a laboratory environment.

Responsibilities
- Identify and document compliance requirements for new and existing products.
- Develop compliance verification plans and test procedures.
- Support product submissions, audits, reviews, and certification activities.
- Partner with engineering teams to resolve compliance-related findings.
- Perform system-level, module-level, integration, and regression testing.
- Develop and execute verification test cases and test plans.
- Document defects and work closely with development teams to support issue resolution.
- We are seeking a Senior Regulatory Compliance Engineer to support the development and certification of intrusion detection and security system products.
- This role is responsible for interpreting regulatory requirements, developing compliance verification strategies, and executing quality assurance activities across hardware, firmware, and software platforms.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Quality Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of experience in product testing, quality assurance, verification and validation, or regulatory compliance.
- Experience interpreting technical requirements and industry standards.
- Experience creating test plans, test procedures, and test reports.
- Ability to communicate technical information to engineering and management teams.
Nice to have
- Experience working with UL, ULC, CE, EN, FCC, IC, or similar regulatory standards.
- Experience with intrusion detection, security, access control, or life safety systems.
- Familiarity with Jira, Azure DevOps, Xray, or similar tools.
- Experience with requirements traceability and verification management.
- Understanding of electronics and electrical test methods.
- Experience supporting third-party certification activities.
