About the role

  • Working alongside the Project Manager, together you will be responsible for delivering the programme on cost, on schedule and on quality through its lifecycle.
  • The development of the products in this portfolio is primarily made up of engineering effort from the software, electronics and systems engineering disciplines.
  • This role would suit an engineer with a background in Systems, Electronics or Software Engineering who is currently leading a multi-disciplinary team.

Responsibilities

  • Eaton MSD Cheltenham is looking for a Lead Engineer to support the development of the next generation of critical control and data processing products.
  • You will be the primary day-to-day lead, undertaking hands-on technical work as well as supervising the technical activities of other engineers working on the project.
  • To succeed in this role, candidates will have previous experience developing engineering solutions on ARP4754/DO-178/DO-254 programmes, preferably at the highest DAL level.
