About the role

  • Management retains the discretion of adding or changing the duties of the position at any time.
  • SUMMARY The Commissioning engineer is responsible for executing the commissioning activities of utility-scale Battery Storage projects.
  • The candidate will plan the commissioning activities, work through day-to-day issues and work closely with the project and product engineering teams and suppliers.

Responsibilities

  • The candidate will need to travel to the project sites to support the onsite BESS commissioning activity.

  • Bachelor's Degree in electric related major;
  • Working knowledge of the company's products, competitive products and the market

Nice to have

  • Provide the installation training to EPC before the project begins.
  • Address customer inquiries regarding product installation and commissioning.
  • Train the local technicians and contractors on the system installation check, energization, parameter setting, testing, troubleshooting and all other related commissioning activities.
  • Resolve all issues encountered during commissioning.
  • Report and escalates to management as needed.
  • Cooperate and communicate effectively with a multinational team under demanding timelines.
  • Train, coach and mentor new members of the commissioning team.
  • Other duties as assigned.
