About the role
- We're looking for an Internal Communications Manager to be a key individual contributor driving our global internal communications programs.
- You'll shape the narrative of where Zuora is going and how we get there together, working across channels such as email, Slack, our employee newsletter, intranet, and live events.
- You'll translate complex strategies into clear, human messages and help leaders communicate with clarity, confidence, and impact.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the broader Communications, Marketing, ZEO Success, and Strategic Operations teams to plan and execute internal communications programs aligned to company strategy, OKRs, people programs, and more.
- Own day-to-day management of the internal communications calendar for your programs, ensuring the right messages reach the right audiences at the right time and avoiding channel conflicts or duplication.
- Support coordination across regions and functions so global and local communications feel consistent, timely, and relevant.
- Support executive and leadership communications
- Partner closely with senior leaders (including the CEO, COFO, CPTO, and functional SVPs) and their teams to support internal communications around strategy, business performance, and major announcements.
- Contribute to the development of All Hands and ZKO segments by drafting talking points, story arcs, and supporting materials that help leaders show progress, explain "the why," and drive clear calls to action.
- Support end-to-end communications for enterprise events such as Global All Hands, ZKO, APAC AMAs, Summer of AI, and targeted enablement sessions - including invites, run-of-show docs, presenter scripts, Q&A flows, enablement tools and resources, and recap communications.
- Collaborate deeply across teams and regions

Nice to have
- Experience working closely with or within Marketing to align internal and external narratives.
- Familiarity with modern internal communications tools and analytics (e.g., intranet platforms, town hall tooling, survey/feedback tools, video and visual content formats).
- Zuora's Internal Communications team connects every ZEO to our strategy, objectives and key results (OKRs), and culture through clear, timely, and engaging communication.
- Experiments with new formats, tools, and AI-enabled workflows to continuously improve how we communicate.

- Provide constructive feedback and light coaching on content and structure so leaders can communicate with clarity and confidence.
- Capture and synthesize feedback from ZEOs and leaders to recommend improvements for future events and communications.
- Help ensure key moments and messages land thoughtfully across regions, time zones, and cultural contexts.
- Operates as trusted advisors to senior leaders across the company.
- Works cross-functionally to ensure messages are aligned, consistent, and relevant for ZEOs around the world.
