About the role

  • The Director of OST is responsible for leading the vision and compliance of before- and after-school programs.
  • This role will also be charged with hiring and managing part-time staff as well as grants and program partnerships.
  • This is a 12-month position (during the school year: 10 am - 6 pm; during the summer: 8:30 am - 5:00 pm) that the Network Director of OST supervises.

Responsibilities

  • Research and implement evidence-based best practices into daily programming, including high-dosage tutoring

Nice to have

  • 3 years of direct supervision of School Age students.
  • 2 years in a supervisory role in an after school/daycare environment preferred;

Skills

  • Strong written and communication skills;
  • Displays initiative and ability to follow through;
  • Keen eye for details; sweats the small stuff
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Enthusiasm for youth development;
  • Ability to work evenings and occasional weekends;

Compensation

  • Lead annual budget planning
  • Oversee all aspects of grant compliance, including annual audits, site visits, hitting enrollment and attendance goals, student enrollment packets and staff files
