About the role
- The role reports into RELX Chief Strategy Officer and will have occasional international travel to our various global offices for project meetings and workshops.
- The RELX Corporate Strategy team functions as an internal consulting team working closely with our businesses - LexisNexis Risk Solutions, Elsevier, LexisNexis Legal, and RX to enable and guide the development of robust long-term value creation plans.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end strategy projects from problem definition and structuring to delivering executive-level recommendation and driving stakeholder alignment
- Support the businesses with blue-sky thinking on the impact of emerging technologies and trends for our businesses
- Lead and mentor junior team members, ensuring high quality output and team development
Requirements
- 5+ years in top tier strategy / management / financial consulting, corporate strategy, business development or similar roles
- Solid experience in delivering varied projects to senior stakeholders
- Demonstrated project and time management skills, ability to work across several projects concurrently
- Problem solver who has the ability to think creatively
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent required, MBA or equivalent is preferred
Compensation
- Geographic differentials may apply in some locations to better reflect local market rates.Base Pay Range for CO is $136,100 - $252,800.
- Base Pay Range for IL is $142,900 - $265,400.
- Base Pay Range for Chicago, IL is $149,600 - $278,100.
- Base Pay Range for MD is $142,900 - $265,400.
- Base Pay Range for NY is $149,600 - $278,100.
- Base Pay Range for New York City is $163,300 - $303,300.
