About the role

  • As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for programming, setting up, operating, and monitoring CNC mills and lathes to produce high-precision parts.
  • You will ensure machines are functioning correctly, parts are manufactured to specification, and that all safety and quality standards are maintained.

Responsibilities

  • Interpret and modify G-code to optimize machine performance and part accuracy.
  • Continuously optimize cycle times while maintaining part quality.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance on machines and equipment.
  • Maintain shift continuity by documenting work performed and communicating with team members.

Requirements

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods
  • Must have agility to bend, push, pull, and handle materials as needed
  • Complete all required production and quality logs accurately and on time
  • Required Skills/Abilities
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with CNC mills (3-axis, 5-axis) and lathes (standard and mill/turn).

Nice to have

  • Vocational/Technical training in Precision Machining or related field preferred.
  • Experience with DMG Mori, Siemens, and Fanuc controls highly preferred.
