About the role

- This is a full-time position based in Kingston, Ontario.
Responsibilities
- Design, program, test, commission, and support control systems for small-scale chemical pilot plants and small-lot manufacturing facilities using Rockwell Automation ControlLogix, FactoryTalk View SE/ME HMI, Studio 5000, and related data acquisition tools.
- Create and implement control-system schemes and participate in Process Hazards Analysis and Management of Change processes led by Process Engineers.
- Develop HMI, data-logging, alarming, and PLC programs for continuous and discrete chemical-process control using Rockwell Automation FactoryTalk and Studio 5000 platforms.
- Manage multiple small projects while responding to ongoing maintenance and operational priorities.

Requirements
- or Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, or related Engineering degree with appropriate hands-on automation, instrumentation, or process-control experience
Nice to have
- At least two years of relevant experience preferred.
- Relevant hardware experience includes Allen-Bradley PLC hardware, Allen-Bradley Ethernet/IP devices and switches, wire and cable, power supplies, and other control-system components.
- Relevant software experience includes AutoCAD 2D, Rockwell Automation ControlLogix/Studio 5000, FactoryTalk View SE/ME HMI, PlantPAx process-control framework, and Visual Basic programming.
- What you will bring: Technical and Industry Experience: At least two years of relevant experience preferred.

Compensation
- For applicants based in the province of Ontario, the salary range is $75, 599 to $111,175 CAD.
