Your Responsibilities Project Management: Provide guidance to the PM regarding anticipated tasks and relative effort.
Achieve project success, adhering to work plans, schedules, and budgets.

What You Will Contribute to OHM Advisors As a Site Design Project Engineer, you will lead civil engineering design efforts for diverse land development projects, primarily serving private sector clients.
You will collaborate closely with Project Managers to develop and execute tailored scopes of services that align with client needs and objectives.
Your role as a key decision-maker throughout the project lifecycle will involve guiding the process from conceptual design to construction, ensuring high-quality deliverables and successful project outcomes.
Your expertise and leadership will be essential in fostering strong client relationships and driving innovative solutions in site design.
Oversee design team and facilitate QA/QC.

Functional knowledge of sanitary sewer, water, power, gas, and telecom utilities.
Ability to interpret plats, deeds, easements, legal descriptions, etc.
Expertise with topographic models of existing and proposed conditions.
Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil3d, hydrologic/hydraulic modeling programs, AutoTurn and similar civil engineering design software.

Work collaboratively with team of internal staff, external consultants, and regulatory authorities.
Mentor staff and contribute to organizational growth.
Communicate effectively with clients, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders.
Bachelor's or better in Civil Engineering or related field.
5-10 years of experience in Site Design, Civil Engineering, or Land Development.
Kentucky PE license is required.
Indiana or Tennessee PE is a plus.
Ability to engage with clients, internal staff, contractors, and community officials.
