About the role

As an Intake Coordinator, you will Shine Hope as you provide accurate data entry into PEIS and agency database and coordinate the eligibility assessment process of all referrals.

Identify and report billing discrepancies to Program Supervisor to ensure accurate and compliant submissions.

Maintain and track client logs regarding participation and billable services.
Provide support regarding program audits, monitoring visits, or compliance reviews when requested.
Maintain positive, professional appearance and demeanor while interacting and/or communicating with others.
Timely and accurately maintain electronic and paper filing systems in accordance with established guidelines and audit requirements as determined by the Manager.
Requires ability to read, write, speak, and understand English sufficiently to perform the essential functions of the position, including communication with clients, volunteers, and community partners, documentation, and collaboration with staff.

must provide proof of liability insurance and must be eligible to be insured under Buckner's insurance policy.
Must be age 21 or older to drive on behalf of Buckner.

High school diploma or G.E.D. required
Associate's or Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Requires ability to understand and carry out detailed oral and written instructions.
Minimum 2 years prior related experience working with youth and families required.
Requires proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel software including data entry, formula usage.
Requires proficient ability to speak, read and write English professionally.
Spanish language proficiency required, including the ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing, due to the need to regularly serve Spanish-speaking clients.
Requires proficient working knowledge of crisis intervention and ability to demonstrate related skills.
