About the role
- Blackbird is looking for exceptional full stack engineering interns for Summer 2026.
- You'll ship production code used by real restaurants and diners, not sandboxed projects that never see the light of day.
- You'll get hands-on experience across the stack and real exposure to how a fast-moving product team works.
Responsibilities
- Build and iterate on features across our web and mobile surfaces
- Curiosity about how systems fail and how to build them to recover gracefully
Requirements
- Coursework or project experience with React and TypeScript
- Familiarity with async data patterns (REST, WebSockets, or similar)
Compensation
- Notice The compensation rate is $25 an hour USD.
- Disclosure in accordance with New York City's Pay Transparency Law.
