Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine and targeted safety inspections, compliance audits, and risk assessments across production, maintenance, utilities, and support areas.
  • Drive site-wide safety strategy for regulatory readiness and sustained OSHA compliance.
  • Support and coordinate OSHA inspections, complaints, and inquiries, including documentation preparation, abatement tracking, and corrective action follow up.
  • Lead or support incident, injury, and near miss investigations, utilizing root cause analysis methods and driving effective corrective and preventive actions.
  • Lead and mentor supervisors and safety committee members on hazard recognition, safe work practices, and accountability for program execution.
  • Analyze safety data and trends; prepare reports and recommendations for site leadership to support continuous improvement.
  • Support emergency response and operational needs through participation in a rotational on call schedule, providing expert guidance during incidents and urgent safety events.

Requirements

  • 3 years of safety experience in manufacturing or heavy industrial environments
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
  • Develop and deliver OSHA required and site specific safety training

Nice to have

  • 5 years in manufacturing, industrial operations or construction safety
  • Safety is our highest priority and safety procedures/ guidelines must be always adhered to.
  • This includes safety wear such as hearing protection and steel toe shoes.
  • The job is within a non-climate controlled environment where you will be exposed to temperature swings (hot/cold), forklift and pedestrian traffic, and noise.
  • Majority of work completed in a high heat environment.
  • The role involves various physical tasks, including lifting, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and operating machinery, with comprehensive training provided.

Compensation

  • The starting annual salary range for this role is $70,686 to $90,801 a year.
