About the role
- WORK SHIFT: First Shift (United States of America) JOB DESCRIPTION: The Facilities Manager - Manufacturing is responsible for overseeing the maintenance of the operations of our manufacturing plant.
- Responsible for ensuring the facilities are well-maintained, safe, and efficient, and managing all aspects of facility operations, including maintenance, security, and compliance with safety regulations.

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules and preventive maintenance programs that align with the company's long-term goals and objectives.
- Lead, manage, and mentor facilities teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture through direction, support, and professional development opportunities.
- Reports to senior management and key stakeholders to ensure alignment and support for project initiatives.
- Manage budgets and expenses related to facility maintenance and improvement projects.
- Optimize the allocation of resources, including personnel, equipment, and budget, to maximize project efficiency.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project management processes and methodologies.
- Develop and implement emergency response and business continuity plans to ensure the safety and security of the facility.
- Maintain reliable and consistent attendance, including being punctual, and dependable in order to meet the needs of the department and the organization.
- Execute each essential duty satisfactorily in order to perform job successfully.
- Performs effectively as a team member, able to work well with others, open to receive and give feedback, and treats everyone with respect.
Requirements
- The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Strong understanding of facilities management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of plastic processing equipment such as Cooling Towers, Central Chillers, and Air Compressors
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Ability to adapt and adjust plans to meet changing needs.

- Follows all safety procedures required in work area, wears PPE as needed, attends all safety meetings, and reports safety issues regarding equipment or unsafe/hazardous conditions.
Nice to have
- Bilingual in Spanish.
- Proficient and recent experience with AS400.

Compensation
- Salary may vary based on experience.
- $85,000 - $110,000
