Requirements
- The following qualifications, or equivalents, are the minimum requirements necessary to perform the essential functions of this job:
- Required Licenses and Certifications
Nice to have
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- EKG certification preferred
- Successful passing of the test will allow the MT to be exempt from the requirement to take the class initial class.
- All employees will be required to successfully pass the advanced dysrhythmia test every 6 months (April and October each year)
- Prior monitor technician experience preferred
Skills
- Demonstrates positive interpersonal skills
- Verbal and written skills required
- Remains calm under emergency situations
