About the role
- Educational Outreach and Student Services (EOSS) is committed to enrolling all qualified students at Arizona State University and assisting them in their academic success.

Responsibilities
- Student Support Specialist 3
- Student Support Services
- Performs due diligence review, research, or referrals regarding complaints or possible violations related to the ADA.
- Meets with students to determine current accessibility needs requiring accommodations and provides ongoing support for the duration of their academic career.
- Work collaboratively with high schools, community colleges, universities, Vocational Rehabilitation and other community agencies to provide ongoing support for students.
- Conduct presentations, develop programming, and engage with various departments and agencies in order to ensure collaborative support for students with disabilities.
- Maintain confidential files and records.
- Support and participate in spirit, pride, and tradition initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and five (5) years of experience appropriate to the area of assignment/field
- Experience working with students taking in-person and online courses.
- Ability to effectively communicate with a variety of stakeholders, including interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders in and outside the University.
- Ability to apply critical thinking skills and problem-solving skills related to analysis and determining solutions.
- Work performed is subject to extended periods of sitting and standing and may be required to sit and/or stand for prolonged periods of time.

Compensation
- $60,000 per year
