About the role

  • The Senior Technical Operations Consultant is responsible for driving complex warehouse process improvement initiatives by analyzing, mapping, and optimizing operations within SAP WM and EWM environments.
  • The consultant serves as a key subject-matter resource, facilitating workshops with stakeholders across varying levels of the organization and providing expert recommendations that influence operational decisions.
  • The position requires advanced analytical capabilities, strong client-facing skills, and the ability to influence cross-functional teams while continuously advancing operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Establish priorities for the client so they can prepare for and manage changes in their strategy and operations.
  • Travels to client sites up to 50% of the time to collaborate in person, evaluate operations, and review SOPs and practices in action.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, or related field and 5-7 years of relevant experience
  • or no degree and 7-10 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience solving complex problems and owning workstreams.
  • Strong SAP WM/EWM proficiency applied to operational design, mapping, and procedure standardization.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, or related field and 5-7 years of relevant experience; or no degree and 7-10 years of relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated success creating and implementing SOPs to standardize and improve warehouse operations.
  • Advanced analysis and problem framing; ability to lead difficult conversations (scope, risks, tradeoffs).
  • High credibility in client environments; strong facilitation skills and written communication skills.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance (which requires U.S. citizenship).

Nice to have

  • Lean/Six Sigma certification (Green/Black Belt preferred) or equivalent.

Compensation

  • In accordance with pay transparency law, the expected salary range for this position is $150,000 - $165,000 annually.
  • The actual compensation offered will be determined based on factors such as the candidate's experience, qualifications, skills, and location.
