About the role
- The Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and staff.
- This position involves interacting with visitors, managing communications, and handling various clerical tasks with efficiency and professionalism.
- Monitor and order office supplies as needed.
Responsibilities
- Welcome visitors, address inquiries, and manage all reception desk activities while ensuring a positive, welcoming environment.
- Manage incoming communications by answering phones and directing calls to the appropriate staff.
- Effectively handle and distribute incoming mail and deliveries, and perform clerical tasks such as copying, faxing, and filing.
- Provide administrative support such as data entry, filing, and document preparation.
- Support project coordination by tracking deadlines, updating statuses, and collaborating with team members.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements
- Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds at times.
- High school diploma or GED required, preferably in a related field of study.
- 1+ year prior experience as a receptionist, front desk representative, or similar role.
- Required Skills/Abilities:
Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with staff, clients, and visitors to ensure a positive experience.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Professional communication skills through phone, email and mail correspondence.
- Familiarity with office equipment and administrative procedures.
Compensation
- $18 - $22 USD
