About the role

Responsibilities
- Drive strategic technical decisions, approving design approaches and ensuring alignment with organizational goals for the company's communications platform.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to define long-term engineering strategy, roadmap, and talent needs for the organization.
- Plan, direct, and oversee the full software project lifecycle, including requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.
- Direct engineering teams in building scalable and reliable event-driven systems utilizing Amazon Web Services, Java, and Python, with relational databases such as SQL and non-relational databases including DynamoDB and Elasticsearch, and leveraging data streaming and messaging platforms such as SQS, Kinesis, and Kafka, hosted either in AWS or Google cloud.
- Provide oversight for projects requiring compliance with SMS A2P 10DLC regulations and design reliable systems to support messaging requirements.
- Experience must include Java, developing and maintaining RESTful web services, utilizing SQL relational databases, architecting distributed and scalable systems in cloud environments AWS, and use of monitoring and observability tools Opsgenie or Datadog to ensure system reliability and performance.
- Designed to replace the clunky, fragmented tools built for corporate systems, Tebra connects EHR software, billing, automation, telehealth solution, and marketing - so providers can spend less time on admin and more time with patients.
Compensation
- $184,558 to $221,369
- In compliance with California's pay transparency laws, the compensation range for this position will be provided and may include an hourly rate, annual salary, or On-Target Earnings (OTE), depending on the nature of the role.
- The specific compensation structure and detailed range will be discussed with qualified candidates during the initial talent screen.
