About the role
- We are seeking passionate individuals to join our team on a Part-Time basis as Child and Youth Care Workers in Edmonton, Alberta and area.
- In this role, you'll be pivotal in a group home setting, offering specialized care to children and youth with complex behavioral needs.
- Our programs prioritize individualized care, creating a safe space for you to foster genuine connections with the youth under your wing.
Responsibilities
- Establish a relationship to guide and support youth through mentorship, role modelling, and positive reinforcement
- Complete and maintain documentation of daily activities and observations
- As a leading Children and Family Services Agency, CarePros provides Trauma-Informed Personalized Community Care and Therapeutic Foster Care placements to children and youth with complex behavioural and support needs.
- Perform routine general program responsibilities such as cleaning and organization
Requirements
- Alberta 10-year Driver's Abstract (10 years driving experience is not required)
- Knowledge of effective home care processes and procedures
- Trauma Informed Care understanding and proven experience
- Completion of a Degree/Diploma in Child and Youth Care or Social Work is an asset
