About the role
- This role serves as a key connection between our legal team and the families we represent, helping ensure cases move forward efficiently while delivering a positive client experience.
- This is not a purely administrative role.
- You'll work closely with attorneys and other legal team members to ensure every case is handled with accuracy, urgency, and care.
Responsibilities
- We work with clients across the U.S. and around the world - in English and Spanish - helping families reunite, seek safety, and build a brighter future.
- We're hiring a Bilingual Immigration Legal Assistant (English/Spanish) to support our attorneys and clients throughout the immigration process.
- You'll play an active part in preparing immigration filings, gathering supporting evidence, maintaining case records, communicating with clients, and helping attorneys build strong cases.
- ▸ Client Communication & Case Support
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date case notes and client communications within the firm's case management system
- Organize and maintain case files to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with filing requirements
- ▸ Team Collaboration & Legal Support
- Collaborate with attorneys and legal team members to develop action plans and support case strategy
- Escalate issues, delays, or case concerns proactively to support successful outcomes
Requirements
- Fully bilingual in English and Spanish (written and verbal). required
- Experience working in Immigration Law. required
Nice to have
- Experience preparing immigration applications and supporting documentation preferred
- Bachelor's Degree in Legal Studies or a related field preferred, but not required
