About the role

  • Mastercut Operator is responsible for operating machinery to cut out parts of specified size and shape from corrugated board and properly offloading and inspecting finished material.
  • Operate machine to cut out parts of specified size and shape from corrugated board.

Responsibilities

  • May perform minor repairs on dies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management/supervisors.

Requirements

  • Safety sensitive position. ability to work in a constant state of alertness and a safe manner.
  • Ability to work overtime and weekends as required based upon the needs of the business.
  • Ability to work on a rotating shift as needed.
  • Ability to effectively work in teams.
  • Ability to work in a production-based environment with moving equipment and people.
  • Ability to interact and communicate effectively with a wide variety of roles.
  • Ability to operate hand tools.
  • Ability to operate a forklift.

Skills

  • Position and secure cutting dies to bed of machine using hand tools.
