About the role
- Mission Statement: The Warehouse Lead is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring accurate inventory control, efficient material flow, and on-time shipping and receiving activities. This role provides hands-on leadership to warehouse personnel, supports production requirements, drives continuous improvement initiatives, and maintains
- a safe and organized work environment. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily warehouse operations including outbound shipping, inbound receiving, staging, inventory movement, and cycle counts. Lead and coach a warehouse team to ensure accuracy, safety, and efficiency across all warehouse functions. Coordinate with the production team to stage and deliver
Responsibilities
- Lead and coach a warehouse team to ensure accuracy, safety, and efficiency across all warehouse functions.
- Coordinate with the production team to stage and deliver components and materials needed for manufacturing each day.
- Perform daily cycle counts and manage inventory integrity using our Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Implement and manage tools like barcode systems and scan guns to modernize and streamline operations.
- Manage special warehouse improvement projects from planning to execution.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized warehouse environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate effectively with other departments and lead a team.

Requirements
- Experience 3+ years of experience in shipping, logistics, or warehouse management.
Nice to have
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including outbound shipping, inbound receiving, staging, inventory movement, and cycle counts.
- Communicate cross-functionally with purchasing, production, planning, and customer service to keep operations aligned.
- Operate forklifts, including sit-down and stand-up models, to assist with staging, shipping, and receiving when needed.
- Proven experience managing a team, including training, scheduling, and performance management.
- Proficiency in warehouse systems and experience with inventory management software (WMS preferred).
- Familiarity with scan gun/barcode systems and a passion for process improvement.
- Ability to operate forklifts (sit-down and stand-up)
- certification is a plus or willingness to become certified.
