About the role
- Cabinet Peaks Medical Center is looking for Certified Nurses Assistants (CNA) who are dedicated to high quality and compassionate care to join our Acute Care/Med Surg Department!
- Major Job Duties & Responsibilities Demonstrates communication by clearly conveying information and ideas through appropriate mechanisms in a way that engages people and helps them understand and retain the message.
Responsibilities
- Supports a culture of safety and quality.
- Performs waived testing (point-of-care testing) per Clinical Laboratory's and the unit's policies and procedures.
- Performs patient care responsibilities considering needs specific to the standard of care for patient's age.
- Manages and operates equipment safely and correctly.
- Documents to current standards and policies.
- Maintains and protects confidentiality regarding all aspects of patient care.
Requirements
- Demonstrates ability to communicate to the RN any observed changes in patient's status and responses.
- Must be self directed, able to complete outlined tasks without needing to be prompted.
- 6 months to 1 year of related work experience preferred, not required.
