Responsibilities

  • Maintain inventory control utilizing FIFO.

Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
  • Deliveries from the warehouse must be completed on time and as per the schedule.
  • All deliveries from the warehouse must be documented and hard copies kept in the storekeepers' office.
  • Periodic inventory takes must be conducted, ensuring the physical inventory always matches the theoretical inventory.
  • Items with short expiry windows must be prioritized, and the managers concerned must be informed well in advance to avoid spoilage.
  • Spoilage and inventory discrepancies must be kept to a minimum.
  • Records of training must be kept and will be inspected by the manager.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations and the ability to ensure compliance.
  • Required to hold valid MED Domestic Vessel Safety certificate, Crowd and Crisis Management certificate, marine medical certificate, which employer will support arranging and subsidizing
  • Working Conditions
  • Constant standing and walking throughout shift
  • Frequent lifting and carrying up to 50lbs
  • Frequent kneeling, pushing, pulling and lifting
  • Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps

  • $CAD 26.50 to 38.60/-
