About the role
- Job Description: The Manager of Social Services and Case Management is responsible for providing leadership and supervision for the Social Service/Case Management department.
- This includes monitoring the competency of staff members and the appropriateness of care provided to patients and families.
- The Manager is responsible for duties including education and mentoring of staff, managing clinical coverage and staff schedules.
Requirements
- CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES: Current certification as a Bachelors Social Worker (BSW) from the State of Nebraska or current license as a Registered Nurse (RN) from the State of Nebraska required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required.
- This position may also provide direct patient care as required by program needs.
- Minimum one year of hospital social work or RN case management experience required.
- Current certification as a Bachelors Social Worker (BSW) from the State of Nebraska or current license as a Registered Nurse (RN) from the State of Nebraska required.
- Bachelors Degree in Social Work, Nursing, or equivalent required.
