About the role
- The MA works closely with patients, handling both front- and back-office functions in a fast-paced medical setting.
- The Medical Assistant functions under the direction of the Nurse Supervisor and/or Practice/Office Manager.
- The MA recognizes patient's needs and symptoms in advance and responds appropriately, always keeping patient safety and the patient experience at the center of care delivery.
Responsibilities
- Performs other duties as necessary related to front office tasks and registration, laboratory and x-ray testing.
- Partners with the patient and significant others and/or family (as appropriate); keeping the patient at ease in the office through a collaborative and communicative approach to all care rendered.
Requirements
- All certifications are required upon hire unless otherwise stated.
- Laboratory Duties and Expectations Properly starts lab equipment daily, maintains daily logs, and required documentation.
- High Ability to read, write and speak the English language
- basic computer skills required.
Nice to have

- Must be able to work quickly and efficiently to assure patient comfort and satisfaction.
