About the role

  • Responsible for managing and leading middle market banking activity and production in an assigned market, overseeing a portfolio of approx. $500-800MM and serving clients with $15+MM of annual revenue.
  • Responsible for the P&L of an assigned market and management of an assigned portfolio, establishing production goals and strategies to succeed.
  • Actively participates in community/market events through organizations and board memberships to function as the "face" of the bank in the respective market.

Responsibilities

  • May personally produce and build partnerships (internal and external) to attract business relationships while supporting a production team.
  • Experience developing and implementing a market strategy to achieve results/goals.
  • Experience managing and developing others and the ability to build and maintain relationships. Demonstrates a commitment to attracting, motivating, and retaining top talent.
  • Proven track record of success in developing new clients and business, including prospecting, sourcing and networking.

Requirements

  • 4-7 years - Prior experience in middle market, commercial, or corporate lending. (Required)
  • Ability to interact effectively and professionally with executive levels.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with small and large audiences
  • Excellent planning and organization skills with the ability to change course (adaptable) at a moment's notice.

Nice to have

  • 4-7 years - prior management experience leading a production team and effectively handling employee and customer relations issues. (Preferred)
