About the role
- The Wet Process Engineer oversees, optimizes, and supports all wet process operations involved in PCB manufacturing, including but not limited to cleaning, etching, plating, stripping, and surface finish.
Responsibilities
- Develops, monitors, and optimizes wet processes including outer layer etching, copper plating, micro-etch, stripping, and cleaning.
- Troubleshoots process-related issues and implements corrective actions.
- Performs root cause analysis for process deviations or defects and drives continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develops and updates engineering documents such as ECRs, process maps, pFMEA, SOPs, part drawings, Test Reports, and Travelers
- designs and plans equipment layout and implementation
- Researches and recommends new production equipment; designs and plans equipment layout and implementation
- Ability to maintain high confidentiality standards and practices

Requirements
- Strong knowledge of PCB fabrication processes and industry standards
- Proficiency with ERP, Minitab or statistical analysis software
- Ability to read and interpret part drawings and GD&T
- Bachelor's degree in industrial Chemical Engineering or Materials Science
- 2-3 years of experience in wet process engineering in PCB manufacturing
- Experience with environment and safety compliance (OSHA, EPA, ect.)
