Facilities Support Technician

The Facilities Support Technician is responsible for maintaining a clean and professional environment by performing routine housekeeping and janitorial duties, including weekly cleaning of offices, hallways, and restrooms, as well as ensuring all restrooms are fully stocked.
In addition to cleaning responsibilities, this position supports the facility through light maintenance projects such as painting, replacing light bulbs, and completing weekly and monthly preventive maintenance tasks.
The role also assists with minor industrial maintenance needs, including replacing gaskets on hoses, maintaining organized equipment storage areas, and updating signage and labels throughout production and building areas.

2+ years of experience in janitorial, custodial, building maintenance, or other facilities related roles.
Strong attention to detail, the ability to prioritize tasks, and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
Familiarity with hand/power tools as related to light maintenance projects.
Must be able to comply with all safety and PPE requirements.
Must be able to work in varying temperatures and in environments such as the laboratory, production floor, and general office settings.
Must be able to use different hand and power tools safely.
Proper PPE is required at all times.
Maintain accurate records where required.

High school diploma or equivalent.
Hazardous waste management experience.
DOT Hazardous Materials Regulation certification preferred.
Overall knowledge of reactors, instruments, filters, pumps, motors, forklifts, scales, and standard chemical testing equipment.
Licensing & Special Requirements:
Subject to a criminal background check.
Working Conditions:
Most of the work is performed indoors.

$25-28 hourly based on experience and interview outcomes
