About the role
- Rightway is looking for a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Staff Accountant to join our team.
- This role involves supporting day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and GAAP, and contributing to the accurate and timely reporting of financial information.

Responsibilities
- Lead daily accounting operations including payables, customer billing, cash transactions, payroll processing, and responding to inquiries
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support company-wide initiatives and projects
- Strong working knowledge of and experience in financial reporting, month end closing, and audit support
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or related field required
- 2+ years of general accounting experience, with a proven track record of excelling and getting promoted
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions like pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
- Contribute to audit preparations, both internal and external, by providing required documentation
Nice to have
- CPA certification or progress toward obtaining it is a plus

- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a methodical approach to troubleshooting and problem solving
Compensation
- $65,000 - $90,000 annually, in addition to bonus and equity
- Compensation offered will be determined by geographic location, experience, and qualifications.
