About the role

Cardinal is seeking an LSIT to join our dynamic and growing team.
As an LSIT, you will be responsible for proper scheduling, budget, contract, and client interaction for all projects in your service area.

Develop and maintain relationships with existing and new clients.
Collaborate with project team members, including other licensed surveyors, engineers, and technical and survey staff.
Maintain firm standards for the preparation of survey and mapping documents.

Must have strong attention to detail with excellent analytical capabilities.
Must have the ability to plan, organize, and prioritize multiple projects.
Must be able to lift and carry or otherwise move 25/50/80 pounds regularly/occasionally.
Must be able to drive a vehicle safely.
Must be able to work in inclement weather.
Must be able to deal effectively and reasonably with stress in the workplace without lost time or undue strain.
Must be able to sit, walk, talk, and hear for extended periods of time.
Must be able to type/key-in data and answer telephones frequently as needed.
EDUCATION: Graduation from high school or GED. equivalent is required.
Additional college coursework or apprenticeship is highly desirable.
An advanced degree is preferred.

Minimum of five years of land surveying experience and has earned their LSIT or is qualified to take LSIT exam.
Civil 3D, preferred
Carlson Civil Suites - IntelliCAD, preferred
Office management practices and procedures
Client communication and customer service via email, phone, or in-person
Project and field crew staff management and evaluation
Government, Commercial, Residential and Retail Projects
Sokkia, Trimble Total Station, Data Collectors
