About the role
- Cardinal is seeking an LSIT to join our dynamic and growing team.
- As an LSIT, you will be responsible for proper scheduling, budget, contract, and client interaction for all projects in your service area.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing and new clients.
- Collaborate with project team members, including other licensed surveyors, engineers, and technical and survey staff.
- Maintain firm standards for the preparation of survey and mapping documents.
Requirements
- Must have strong attention to detail with excellent analytical capabilities.
- Must have the ability to plan, organize, and prioritize multiple projects.
- Must be able to lift and carry or otherwise move 25/50/80 pounds regularly/occasionally.
- Must be able to drive a vehicle safely.
- Must be able to work in inclement weather.
- Must be able to deal effectively and reasonably with stress in the workplace without lost time or undue strain.
- Must be able to sit, walk, talk, and hear for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to type/key-in data and answer telephones frequently as needed.
- EDUCATION: Graduation from high school or GED. equivalent is required.
- Additional college coursework or apprenticeship is highly desirable.
- An advanced degree is preferred.
Nice to have
- Minimum of five years of land surveying experience and has earned their LSIT or is qualified to take LSIT exam.
- Civil 3D, preferred
- Carlson Civil Suites - IntelliCAD, preferred
- Office management practices and procedures
- Client communication and customer service via email, phone, or in-person
- Project and field crew staff management and evaluation
- Government, Commercial, Residential and Retail Projects
- Sokkia, Trimble Total Station, Data Collectors
