As the Superintendent, you report to one of Hall's General Superintendents, with responsibility and oversight of a construction project site, with the goal of executing profitable capital construction projects.

Collaborate with management and field staff on all aspects of the job.
Review build productions for each task with Foremen and other site leaders.
With project sizes ranging from $100k to $150M, we are well suited to manage any civil project needs regardless of complexity.

Years of experience: Minimum of 8 years of progressive leadership experience in civil construction, trades or a relevant field.
Proven, progressively senior experience demonstrating operational excellence across multidisciplinary teams.
Experience working in a unionized environment considered an asset

Strong leadership in construction operations.
Identify the specific needs of the owner and other stakeholders to ensure that they are met on all projects.
Read and understand blueprints, specifications, schedules and cost reports.
Resource allocation to meet construction schedule and complete projects on time and on budget.
Monitor project and people performance to proactively identify efficiency issues and propose solutions.
Strong business acumen.
Ability to drive process improvements.
Excellent project management and operational execution skills.
Interpersonal Skills:
Proactively liaise with key internal and external stakeholders.
Possess strong leadership competencies to direct and execute all aspects of project planning and execution.

The Superintendent provides the exciting opportunity to work on some of the highest-profile construction projects in British Columbia.
Partnering closely with site leaders, Project Managers/Coordinators, and on-site engineers to ensure the quality of the projects meets Hall standards and is completed on time and within budget.
The Superintendent leads on-site construction operations regularly with Foremen, and company leaders to ensure safety, cost control, and accurate scheduling are all top of mind.
