About the role

  • As the Vice President of Closed-end Fund Accounting, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the financial integrity of multiple closed-end funds and separate accounts within the Private Equity Strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research on technical accounting guidance and implement new accounting pronouncements as needed.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 13-15 years of accounting experience in the financial services industry, preferably in investment management.
  • Strong knowledge of reconciliation, account analysis, and investment company accounting rules.
  • Experience with back leverage facility/financing structures and investment exclusion rights/participation.
  • Knowledge of season and sell strategy/treatment.
  • Familiarity with Investran.
  • Solid analytical skills with the ability to resolve complex problems effectively.

Nice to have

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • experience with Geneva and/or Geneva World Investor accounting systems is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

Compensation

  • Review quarterly and annual financial statements in compliance with U.S. GAAP.
