About the role
- At Johnson Controls you'll have the opportunity to work on some of the most exciting and relevant facilities, HVAC chillers and commercial products in today's market.
- We provide factory certification through our Service Technical Academy (STA) with recognition, monetary rewards, and advancement.
- Provide recommendations and solutions to ensure facility is running efficiently to include upselling opportunities.
Responsibilities

- A smarter building is safer, more comfortable, more efficient, and, ultimately, more sustainable.
- Provide quotes to support recommendations and solutions.
- Can lead large complex repairs, jobs or retrofits.
- Able to repair centrifugal compressors, steam turbines, absorption chillers, screw chillers and/or ammonia / hydrocarbon system components Maintain ammonia and hydrocarbon safety training certification.
- To support an efficient and fair hiring process, we may use technology assisted tools, including artificial intelligence (AI), to help identify and evaluate candidates.
Requirements
- What we look for Required Must be a member or willing to join the United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices of the Plumbing and Pipe Fitting Industry of the United States and Canada, AFL-CIO.
Compensation
- $47.20 hourly rate determined by the CBA/rate sheet.
- The posted salary range reflects the target compensation for this role.
