About the role

To continue our global expansion, we're looking for a Trucking Pricing Associate to work within our trucking organization.
We are looking for an individual who is detail-oriented, analytically driven, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment where accuracy and speed directly impact revenue.
Provide account executives with the necessary trucking network intelligence to secure new business

Collaborate with demand and partner pricing teams to support the acquisition of strategic accounts through comprehensive pricing exercises
Develop strategies to win trucking business for our freight forwarding client base
Manage RFPs for trucking and coordinate with regional trucking procurement team to ensure we have the service offerings in place to win the business
Set up, implement and drive new procurement strategies and programs that will enable Flexport to build a more competitive trucking product
Conduct complex network studies based on volume flows, strategic priorities and market trends to develop recommendations on future trucking procurement
Experience in building complex data models on Excel, developing macros and prior SQL knowledge is a plus
Experience in market research, building reporting tools and dashboards and working on process improvement
Experience working in the Logistics industry or developing strategy for ground transportation would be a plus

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, BBA or similar relevant area of study is preferred
3-5 years of prior experience as a Supply Chain Solutions Analyst or in Supply Chain or Management Consulting, Investment Banking, Private Equity or Venture Capital Research would be preferred

Exceptional technical aptitude and strong desire for learning new technologies and solution architectures.
