About the role
- The Senior Scrum Master serves as a servant leader, coach, and facilitator for one or more Agile delivery teams.
- This role is responsible for enabling high-performing teams by protecting focus, enforcing Agile principles and team agreements, facilitating effective Scrum ceremonies, and driving continuous improvement.
- The Senior Scrum Master ensures teams remain focused on delivering customer and business value while proactively removing impediments and fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Partner with teams to define, document, and maintain effective Ways of Working agreements.
- Drive consistency in Agile execution while balancing team autonomy and organizational standards.
- Proven ability to influence without authority and build strong stakeholder relationships.
Requirements
- 4+ years of Scrum Master experience supporting Agile software delivery teams.
- Strong understanding of Scrum, Kanban, and Agile delivery methodologies.
- Experience managing dependencies, risks, and impediments across multiple teams.
- Experience supporting financial services, payments, or highly regulated environments.
- Experience using Agile management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
Compensation
- $97,500.00 - $164,400.00
- These pay ranges apply to employees in New Jersey and New York.
- Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.
- This position is not eligible for an annual incentive opportunity and is also not eligible to earn commissions.
