About the role
- Cabinet Peaks Medical Center is seeking a Practice Receptionist to join our Cardiology Team!
- The Receptionist provides indirect patient care in the medical office setting as the front office receptionist.
- Major Job Duties & Responsibilities Demonstrates the communication standard of conduct by clearly conveying information and ideas through appropriate mechanisms in a way that engages people and helps them understand and retain the message.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrates the patient centered standard of conduct by making patients and their needs a primary focus of one's actions; developing and sustaining productive patient relationships.
- Retrieve all faxed documents and work appropriately and timely and handles all incoming mail and distribution daily.
Requirements
- To help ensure a safe and healthful working environment, each applicant to whom an offer of employment has been made will be required as a condition of employment to undergo a substance test.
- Additional pre-employment items may be required.

- Participates in monthly staff meetings, training sessions and annual education sessions, disaster drills, etc.
