About the role
- Reporting to Senior Engineer Supervisor, Process, the Electrical Engineer is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems within Elkview Operations processing facilities at EVR.
- To be successful, we are looking for someone with excellent interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills, who has strong learning agility, and analytical problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- The successful candidate will be a highly motivated, cross-functional team player who brings a collaborative approach to finding solutions.
Responsibilities
- This critical role provides key operation and design support for electrical infrastructure, including power distribution, control systems, and instrumentation.
- This role will be located on site and will require a blend of office work and field support.

Requirements
- Successful candidates must be willing to satisfy the pre-employment requirements of a pre-employment drug screen and three professional references.
- Strong attention-to-detail and organizational skills, and the ability to work flexibly in a constantly evolving, dynamic environment are crucial to this role.
Compensation
- $91,300 - $126,800 CAD /year For applicants registered as an EIT or GIT, annual base salary will be determined by EVR's formal progression matrix based on verified relevant years of experience.
- The actual base salary offered is determined based on the successful candidate's relevant experience, skills, and competencies and considers internal equity.
