About the role
- To conduct cognitive assessments for all children on the inpatient rehabilitation unit to include teens and children with traumatic or acquired brain injuries, multi-trauma, spinal cord injury or other new decline in function
- coordinate care with multidisciplinary team to aid in patient's return to school setting.
- Constructs and administers appropriate assessments of learning, dependent on the severity of injury, to identify learning and cognitive challenges of assigned students.
Responsibilities
- Establishes and maintains rules/procedures and budget for the program.
Requirements
- 3 years classroom experience
- 1 year experience teaching children with cognitive impairments
- Required Certifications/Registrations/Licenses

- Bachelor's Degree in Special Education or related field is required.
- Master's Degree in Special Education is preferred
